Adventure Writing Prompts
An adventure needs more than distance. Build a route that tests a different part of the group at each stage and let the destination change meaning along the way.

How to shape a strong adventure premise
Find the adventure pressure
Give the destination an emotional meaning for each traveller. Obstacles become more than set pieces when turning back costs each person something different.
Build around a costly choice
A prompt starts moving when the protagonist cannot protect every goal, value, or relationship at once.
Change one ingredient
Keep the core pressure but replace a role, relationship, or setting detail. The result will still read as adventure while becoming more distinctly yours.
Write toward consequence
After the opening disruption, ask what option disappears. A story gathers momentum when choices change what remains possible.
