How to Set Up Obsidian Vault Sync
Talebuddy and Draggen can connect directly to your Obsidian vault, allowing you to access your notes within our applications and keep your vault synchronized across multiple devices.
Setting it up only takes a few minutes.
Step 1: Make Sure Your Plan Includes Obsidian Sync
Obsidian Vault Sync is available on the Archivist and Creator subscription tiers.
Before getting started, make sure your Kadima account is subscribed to one of these plans.
Step 2: Install the Kadima Obsidian Sync Plugin
Open Obsidian and go to:
Settings → Community plugins
Search for Kadima Obsidian Sync, then:
- Click Install.
- Once installation is complete, click Enable.
The plugin is now ready to be configured.

Step 3: Sign In to Your Kadima Account
Open the Kadima Obsidian Sync settings inside Obsidian and click Connect Kadima.
Your browser will open and ask you to sign in to your Kadima account and authorize the plugin.
Once authorization is complete, return to Obsidian. The plugin should now show that your account is connected.

Step 4: Connect Your Vault
Next, choose which remote vault your current Obsidian vault should synchronize with.
You can either:
- Connect to an existing remote vault if you already have a vault stored on Kadima.
- Create a new remote vault for the Obsidian vault currently open on your device.
Confirm your selection and the plugin will connect your local Obsidian vault to its remote counterpart.
Your vault is now ready to sync.

Step 5: Connect Additional Devices (Optional)
Want to use the same vault on another computer or device?
Install and enable the Kadima Obsidian Sync plugin on that device, sign in with the same Kadima account, and connect the local vault to the same remote vault.
The plugin will synchronize your notes so your devices stay up to date.
You're All Set!
Once your vault is connected, Talebuddy and Draggen can access your synchronized notes and you can continue working with the same vault across your connected devices.
Changes made to your vault will be synchronized automatically, so you don't need to manually upload or transfer your notes between devices.
